MFT, SU announcement, and a Powwow

Man, I have all kinds of things to share lately! The MFC challenge in the MFT thread is to get ornamental! I found this fun little paper mache ornament that was begging to be altered. I love this one so much, I had to go get another to play with! This little owlie is on one of the six panels. Each of the remaining panels has a word, to make up the phrase, owl be home for Christmas.

I used some of this beautiful crochet ribbon from i {heart} papers and this paper is some that I acquired on my little Tulsa adventure a week or so ago. This was a very simple project and I just love how it turned out. Could you image an ENTIRE tree covered in these beauties?!? That would be cool! Also, Moxie Fab has issued a stamping challenge to make a card or an ornament, so she's going to enter that contest!

In SU news, they're little announcement didn't set too well with me. As of September 14, my business website will no longer be up and as of September 30 (maybe 29), I will no longer be a demo. It is an understatement for me to say that I think it is an unreasonable move on their part. I will continue as their customer as needed, only to fill in the gaps where PTI colors aren't available. I'm hopeful that PTI will fill those gaps soon enough. I wish all the demos who are staying on and all those who prefer SU only all the best. I truly do.

Now for some different kind of news. I live in a part of Oklahoma that is home to several Native American tribes. I heard on the radio the other day about a powwow going on last weekend, so Jay and I took the dogs to watch the dancing. The colors were beautiful and their outfits were magnificent. It got dark quickly, but I was able to snap this shot.
