MFTeasers: Textile Rectangles

MFTeasers start TODAY!  It's especially exciting because the December temp team is here to help.  They're chock full of talent and it's certain they'll appeal to your stampy senses.  Check Kim's blog at 11am EST to see a list of teasers.  You may (or may not) want to leave comments as you go.  There may (or may not) be $10 gift certificates lurking around for commenters.  Trust me on this.  You'll find the winners announced on Kim's blog too.

And on to Textile Rectangles.  It's a stamp/dienamic combo and it's fabulous.

I used some Little Yellow Bicycle and Websters Pages dp and used the textile as my focal image.  I cheated a bit on the sketch and tied a little bow with big twine instead of three small embellishments {for this week's SFYTT}.  I tried and tried to get those three to work and it would have been disastrous had I gone through with it.  So.  A big twine bow it is.

You see the rolled rose dienamic?  It's so easy to get a double layered rose.  I used blue felt and kraft cs, but you could easily use two layers of felt or two layers of cs.  I see some pretty tone on tone roses in my future.  Don't you think it'd be lovely with pink and darker pink?  There's a button and a large half back pearl in the middle.

Check out the other SFYTT sisters who can follow the rules...or the sketch.  ;)

I love the color of your flower! It's just gorgeous. Your card works wonderfully without the 3 small elements. It's gorgeous.
