Weather Every Storm

I'm really excited to show you today's card.  Today is a la mode day and I've used The Rainbow Will Come set.  Why am I excited to show you today's card?  Because I got to put my Copic airbrush system to work while paper piecing.  

I paper pieced her umbrella, raincoat, and galoshes.  After I cut out each piece (before adhering to the main image) I used a Copic marker that was a shade darker than the paper color.  I love how it turned out.  The airbrushing does all the work for you!  I especially love how dark it looks under the umbrella!

I used some of the new My Mind's Eye patterned paper for the paper piecing and for he background layers.  I used the Monarch Border Die-namics and the soon to be released Mini Monarch Border Die-namics on the background panel.  I dotted each point with liquid pearls.  I also snuck in a little details cut with one of the fabulous new Photo Corner Die-namics.
