Welcome to March's Creative Challenge with the MFT Design Team. If you check MFT's blog, you'll find a list of each of the designers who are participating. This month, we each made projects to show our appreciation for teachers. I know quite a few teachers and think this is such a fun theme--especially when you use MFT's stamps and Die-namics to show your appreciation.
I made a card that can also hold a gift card. I started with our scholarly image, a la modes You Rule to get the teacher theme started. I stamped her in Memento ink and colored her with Copics. You'll notice her piece of paper is also slightly colored. I used a light blue and a medium red Copic with a careful hand to touch on each of the lines. I love how realistic it looks!
The patterned paper is by Studio Calico. You'll also notice two embellishments: the beautiful red ribbon and the black felt cut with the Postage Stamp Border Die-namics. The Photo Corners Die-namics are one of my new favorites. I used one on the corner of the image panel.
I created a pocket using a ruled index card (that I found in a teacher store) that fit the tag from the Tag You're It Die-namics perfectly! I spruced up the tag with the Notebook Edge Die-namics and the ruler from the Sew Nifty Die-namics set.
Thanks for stopping by today!
