Anyone else watching the NBA finals? Keeping up with this sports event is quite easy with my Facebook feed. It seems as if every Oklahoman I know is excited (rightfully so) about the Oklahoma City Thunder making it's way to the finals. I overheard an analyst say that he thought the Thunder was a better "put together" team, but his pick was for the Heat. Humph. I don't have much allegiance to Oklahoma, but it's an interesting saga to follow.
How about a little sample for this week's Wednesday Stamp Club? Head on over the the MFT blog to see a list of participants and to the MFT forum for details on how YOU could win some MFT Moolah!
I used one of my favorite Who's That Girl images, Coffee? Tea? There are some days I wish I could savor my hot cuppa this quietly.
I paper pieced her dress and airbrushed the pieces to add dimension. I have a video tutorial on that here. I also airbrushed a little grey in the background. I used the Mini Monarch Border Die-namics with grey felt for the detail on the edge of the rectangle. I'm still on a distressed edge kick and I'm still really liking it!
For the little flag part of the sketch I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. These guys get a major workout in my craft room. I offset three buttons for a little embellishment.
I'll see ya soon. ~megan
