Hang Loose VIP

My Favorite Things' June VIP kit is available now.  It includes two happenin' beach bums Pure Innocence Surfer Chick and Surfer Dude.  Plus, it has two Die-namics: Sentiment Strips and Jumbo Squiggle Border (a larger version of our Squiggle Border Die-namics).  

I created a tag using the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics.  I layered on a little patterned paper at the top before I cut it--a nice option when cutting with your dies.  They will easily go through two layers and you can really get some versatility out of them.  The back panel has three layers of blue felt cut with the Catch a Wave Die-namics.  I reversed the direction of the waves for visual interest.  I layered a bit of twill and twine on top.  The image was colored with Copics and paper pieced with coordinating Authentique paper.

I used one of the Sentiment Strips Die-namics for the sentiment.  You're going to love these.  They're perfectly sized for the PI font, plus many other fonts.  Here's a close up of the detail on the end of the sentiment strip and the tag topper.  Here's some detail:
