A Better Place

It's the last day in our SIX YEAR celebration at My Favorite Things.  We have once last surprise.  Lisa Johnson of Poppy Paperie is starting her own line with MFT!  Lisa Johnson Designs will be debuting at our August release.  Be sure to tune in and see just what she's been designing...

I was inspired to use my Vertical Greetings stamp set and Die-namics (linked below) to create a card.  I used the Deconstructed Sketch (no. 59) for today's card.  Gosh, I love how easy it is to make a meaningful card with the set!

I just love the Bracket Edge Die-namics and just wish I used it more often!  I layered it with red cardstock and patterned paper.  All the patterned paper is by Crate Paper.  I used Simply Scallops Die-namics with the light gray patterned paper above the kraft ribbon.  (all links below)

I cut a square piece of gray felt and adhered it to a piece of ivory cardstock.  Then, I cut it with the Die-namics.  I prefer to do it in this order to make all the edges line up nicely.  Once I got it cut, I stamped the sentiment right in place.

Have you heard about MFT's brand spankin' new buttons?!?  Ummm, yes please!  We now offer buttons, cardstock, and ribbon in coordinating colors.  I like to use different (not matchy matchy) buttons when I line them up.  It provides some more interest and I don't have to go digging for a perfect pair.
