Creative Challenge

**Note: My blog makeover is done!  Do you see all the new graphics and buttons?  I'm loving it.  Danielle at take heart is the genius behind it!  Also, I'll be adding the finishing details soon.**

The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create a card or project without patterned paper.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.

This challenge was perfect to get the creativity flowing!  For my first card, I chose to make a felt scene.  This idea had been buried in my thoughts for a while and I have a few more with this technique in mind.  I'm kinda loving the finished result.  :)  I used the Teardrop Tree Die-namics and the Fresh Cut Grass Border Die-namics.  All links are below.

The little clouds are from the You Move Me Die-namics and the sentiment is from the  Just My Type set.  Of course, there had to be a little "apple" in the tree:

When I first heard the words "no patterned paper" I knew I had to make something in the CAS category.  I also thought about incorporating some other texture and thought this wood paper would be useful.

The flourishes on the card base from the Finishing Flourishes stamp set and the sentiment is from the Vertical Greetings stamp set.  You've heard me talk about that heart before, too.  It stays on my desk and it's a part of the Homespun Greetings Die-namics.

Be sure to stop by in the next week or so once I've rounded out the blog makeover and filled in all the pages!  :)  ~megan
